He typically acts in claims involving a high degree of technical or engineering sophistication, including the ongoing diesel emissions group actions against the major global car manufacturers in which Milberg London is playing a leading role.
Oliver was previously a Senior Associate at high-calibre regional firm, Stevens & Bolton LLP in Guildford, where for 12 years he acted in high value commercial, IT and engineering disputes. After leaving Stevens & Bolton LLP in May 2019, Oliver spent 3½ years with the London-based international litigation funder, Augusta Ventures, where he was Head of German Investments prior to joining Milberg London in November 2022.
Oliver is a longstanding member of the Society for Computers & Law and obtained a Masters degree in Modern Languages (French and German) from Oxford University prior to qualifying as a solicitor in 2007. In his spare time he plays competitive tennis and enjoys photography, motorsport and general geekery.
