Polly Blenkin Discusses the Future of UK Class Actions in the Financial Times

Milberg partner Polly Blenkin has been featured in the Financial Times, sharing her views on the future of the UK class actions regime and the role collective actions play in promoting access to justice.

Speaking with FT correspondent Sian Harrison, Polly highlighted the importance of group litigation in enabling consumers and businesses to pursue claims that might otherwise be impractical to bring individually.

As Polly explained:

“These are cases which deal with really important principles of law and are against some of the biggest companies in the world.”

Polly also discussed the limitations of the current collective proceedings regime, noting that its narrow scope can prevent certain claims from progressing despite their merits.
